COMCAST GOTHAM PRESS RELEASE
COMCAST GOTHAM Headquarters
1235 1st Street, Downtown Gotham
COMCAST GOTHAM BREAKS FIRST GROUND IN MAMMOTH EFFORT TO BRING HIGH-DEFINITION CABLE, INTERNET, AND TELEPHONE SERVICE TO GOTHAM CITY.
With a ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought out Gotham residents, politicians, and celebrities, COMCAST GOTHAM broke ground on its cutting-edge fiber-optic digital network that will eventually reach every corner of the city. Mayor Anthony Garcia pushed the official COMCAST GOTHAM shovel into the ground as news cameras, reporters, and eager residents watched the ceremony.
COMCAST GOTHAM services will include high-definition cable-TV, high-speed Internet service with maximum speeds up to 150megabits per second, and Comcast digital voice service. "COMCAST GOTHAM is proud to fulfill the pledge we made to Gotham City when we were negotiating with the City Council — we will spare no expense to bring Gotham City fully into the 21st century," said Panos Georgopolas, President of COMCAST GOTHAM.
Georgopolas also announced that COMCAST GOTHAM will bring free Wi-Fi networks to the parks, memorials, and major public gathering places of Gotham. "COMCAST GOTHAM is absolutely committed to turning Gotham City into a showcase of what a modern, digital-everywhere city truly looks like," said Georgopolas.
The international communications firm won a multi-year contract to serve the residents of Gotham after the unfortunate events of the Narrows Attack knocked out cable service in the city.
