The limited edition documentary DVD about Batman, which contained the Gotham National Bank webmail deposit slip, also held a USB thumb drive containing various photos. One image was of a plaque outside Gotham Historical Society, leading to the website. The home page of Gothamnationalbank.com also made reference to the organization, which relates the history of Gotham City and the Wayne family.

Strangely, Gothamhistorictrust.com was the only website that escaped the Joker's vandalism overture.
This coincidence could be insignificant, perhaps stemming from the fact that the site was not used by the Joker to relay information to his cohorts. Still, considering the attempt at marketing the website (and the nature of the dissemination), it would be wise to track any changes in traffic to the site.
